The 1m³Formaldehyde Emission Environmental Test Chamber/VOC Environmental Test Chamber is a new-era formaldehyde emission testing chamber developed based on national standard GB18580-2017,international standards ASTM D6007-2,EN717-1,and ISO16000-9.It is specifically designed for testing formaldehyde emission levels in furniture,wood-based panels,automotive interior parts,and building decoration materials.The equipment employs several new patented technologies,including magnetic field sealing,resulting in test results that more closely resemble real-world conditions.Its realistic and reliable performance reaches the level of similar international equipment.

6.Stainless steel inner chamber:The inner cavity of the constant temperature chamber with a test chamber volume of(1±0.03)m3 is made of stainless steel,with a smooth surface that does not condense and does not absorb formaldehyde,ensuring the accuracy of the test.

7.The constant temperature chamber is made of rigid foam material,and the door uses a silicone rubber sealing strip,providing excellent thermal insulation and sealing performance.The chamber is equipped with a forced air circulation system(creating a circulating airflow)to ensure uniform temperature and humidity inside.

The VOC climate chamber should meet the following environmental requirements:

5.There should be no strong vibrations or corrosive gases around the instrument and equipment,and other cold or heat sources should be avoided.

7.Insulation resistance:The insulation resistance between the live parts of the climate chamber and the chamber shell shall not be less than 20 megohms.

8.Withstand Voltage Strength:When the heater terminals and control system of the climate chamber are open-circuited,the chamber shell should be able to withstand a withstand voltage test of 1500V AC 50Hz for 1 minute.

9.Air tightness:The hatch is self-sealing.The airtightness meets the following requirement:at a positive pressure of 10 kPa(gauge pressure),the air leakage rate inside the cabin is less than 10⁻³*1 m³/min;

10.Inner box material:304 mirror stainless steel plate with seamless welding.The welded areas and surrounding areas are polished and free from deformation.The inner wall is flat and smooth with uniform color and no exposed bottom,delamination,bubbling,or scratches.

11.Outer casing material:A3 color steel plate with electrostatic spraying,the coating is flat and smooth,the color is uniform,and there are no defects such as exposed base,delamination,blistering,blemishes,or deep scratches.The cabin and doors are effectively thermally insulated,using double-layer sandwich insulation of polyurethane and mineral wool,with an insulation layer thickness of not less than 50mm and a thermal conductivity of not more than 0.01W/(m·K).The joints between the inner wall panels are seamlessly welded.

12.Air Exchange Device:The cabin is equipped with a device capable of continuously controlling the air exchange rate(dry air flow meter,electronic air flow metering device).The air inlet and outlet are located on different inner walls at different heights to ensure that the air flow supplied to the cabin meets the corresponding standard requirements.

13.Air circulation(mixing)device:A fan is installed in the chamber to enhance air mixing;the air velocity near the surface of the specimen is between 0.1 m/s and 0.3 m/s.

14.Gas Cleaning System:Employing multi-stage purification(including high-temperature catalytic oxidation VOC purification components,low-temperature cooling VOC purification components,refrigerated dryer for water and oil removal purification components,dust particle filter purification system,formaldehyde filter,and high-efficiency layered activated carbon adsorption filtration system,etc.).After treatment,the pollutant concentration requirements in the gas are:TVOC concentration<0.01mg/m3,any VOC<0.002mg/m3,and formaldehyde content<0.006mg/m3.

15.Monitoring Equipment:A touchscreen control panel serves as the user interface for operating the equipment.It allows direct setting and digital display of internal temperature,relative humidity,temperature compensation,and operating time.It also automatically records and plots operating curves,and data can be transferred to a USB flash drive for storage.
